Job Summary:
The Industrial/Organizational Psychology Intern will support the Human Resources department in various functions related to employee engagement, performance management, training, and organizational development. The intern will assist in research, data analysis, and implementation of HR initiatives that promote a positive work environment and support employee growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and evaluation of employee engagement and wellness programs
- Help develop and update performance appraisal tools and processes
- Conduct surveys, analyze results, and present findings to support decision-making
- Support training needs assessments and help in organizing learning sessions
- Participate in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
- Assist in maintaining HR records, reports, and documentation
- Conduct basic research on HR trends and best practices in organizational psychology
- Provide administrative support to ongoing HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong interest in Human Resources and Organizational Development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
