The Internal Audit Section Manager plays a critical role in assessing and ensuring the organization's adherence to financial, operational, and regulatory standards. This position is essential for strengthening internal controls, improving risk management practices, and supporting effective corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Audit Planning & Execution
- Contribute to developing risk-based audit plans and schedules in line with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.
- Ensure all audit activities adhere to company policies and professional auditing standards.
2. Compliance Monitoring
- Review and assess the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure timely adaptation and compliance.
- Evaluate financial reporting practices to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g., tax laws, AML regulations).
3. Risk Identification & Management
- Identify and assess financial, operational, and compliance risks across various business functions.
- Collaborate with departments to identify control gaps and areas for improvement.
- Provide practical recommendations to mitigate risk and support the implementation of corrective actions.
4. Reporting & Communication
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable insights.
- Present audit results to senior management, audit committees, and other key stakeholders.
- Track the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure long-term compliance and improvement.
5. Team Supervision & Development
- Supervise and mentor junior audit team members, providing guidance on audit methodology and reporting.
- Review and validate audit work to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to audit standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the audit team.
6. Process Improvement & Advisory
- Offer advisory support to departments on optimizing financial and operational workflows.
- Recommend best practices to enhance organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
7. Coordination with External Auditors
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure the timely provision of accurate and complete documentation to facilitate external audit and inspection processes.
✅ Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Internal Auditing
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Four to six years of experience in Internal Auditing or related fields, with supervisory experience.
- Must be willing to be based in Makati City

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month
