We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, tech-forward environments and has a proven track record in data/system/application migration projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end project management of migration-related initiatives (e.g., data center, cloud, application, or system migrations).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, DevOps, Business Units) to ensure smooth transitions with zero data loss and minimal downtime.
- Define scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and issue tracking.
- Lead stakeholder communications – manage expectations, report on progress, escalate roadblocks.
- Facilitate resource planning, budgeting, and cost tracking.
- Ensure all migration-related activities comply with security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Conduct post-migration reviews to capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of solid project management experience.
- 2+ years of specific experience in migration projects (e.g., on-prem to cloud, data center relocations, legacy system upgrades).
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP, or Prince2 preferred).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), databases, and/or application architectures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with vendors, third-party consultants, and internal teams.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master Certification.
- Experience with enterprise-scale migration efforts (e.g., SAP, CRM, ERP).
- Familiarity with change management principles and ITIL practices.
- Background in banking, fintech, telecom, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
