1. Managing Servers. Includes server installation/configuration, making regular upgrades and taking up-to-date backups; Monitor and develop procedures for backups of the servers; Ensures that the server is absolutely secure from any illegal access.
2. Systems Management. Involves taking appropriate steps for the right upgrade of the systems and solving any kind of technical snags; Provide essential hardware support for laptops, desktops, printers and monitors in the company; Undertake the tasks of configuration of hardware devices, testing new software and designing structure of the network; Tests operating system software, networking software and hardware.
3. Networking. Ensure that internal network works smoothly; Undertake the tasks of configuration of hardware devices, testing new software, making periodic upgrades and designing structure of the network; Needs to be up-to-date with everything related to TCP/IP and other networking concepts.
4. Troubleshooting. has to relentlessly work towards keeping troubleshooting episodes at bay; Resolving slow network issues to server crashing; Replacing defective hardware and maintaining inventory records.
