JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- With at least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in system administration and integration.
- Experience in the medical industry is a plus but not required.
- Knowledgeable in Windows Server Administration, SQL Server, Network Attached Storage, and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
- Knowledgeable in Cisco, HP, or other types of managed switches (VLAN, routing, and other network protocols).
- Strong documentation and system analysis skills.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology.
- Willing to do multi-tasks and has leadership potential; above average computer proficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus more on the system process improvements and documentation compliance.
- Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure appropriate access to resources.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Provide technical support to employees, such as setting up new users' accounts/profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Ensure proper and secure storage, backup, and retrieval of data.
- Manage database servers, ensuring data availability and security.
- Continuously monitor system health and performance using automated tools.
- Customize internal systems to meet organizational needs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure systems are integrated and functioning cohesively.
- Address anomalies and performance bottlenecks promptly.
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors if necessary.
- Handle external coordination of software-related issues with vendor or local product support.
- Ensures resolution is within an acceptable time frame.
- Supervise application deployment, including fixes and updates to target devices.
- Conduct testing prior to rollout. Discusses any foreseen major concerns with other IT professionals.
- Advise and assist the company in maintaining security-related concerns and purchasing new systems, software, and hardware.
- Other tasks that management may assign from time to time relevant to the job position.
