A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Understand clients' logistics requirements and provide them with tailored solutions\
Sales and Revenue Generation
- Conduct regular client visits and presentations to showcase company capabilities and services
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed sales targets by actively pursuing and closing sales opportunities
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify business opportunities
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team
Internal Relationship Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Lead Sales/ Sr. Sales Executive, TPH operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Foster positive working relationships with overseas commercial team and partners to enhance service capabilities and expand market reach.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and international trade practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Holder
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role, minimum of two (2) years
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Preferably with knowledge of international logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management
- Thorough understanding of Sales/marketing and negotiating techniques
- Familiarity with CRM software, Google Workspace and Other Sales Tools
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets
