Kaokee Singaporean Restaurant is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our back-of-house team in Makati. If you have a passion for food preparation and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Qualifications:
- Solid kitchen knowledge and practical food preparation skills
- Prior experience as a Kitchen Assistant or similar role
- Familiarity with various cutting techniques and food handling practices
- Hardworking, eager to learn, and flexible with tasks and responsibilities
- Willing and able to work in Makati City
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen tools, equipment, and work surfaces
- Remove kitchen waste, replace garbage bags, and clean garbage bins regularly
- Prepare and set up BOH (Back-of-House) workstations with necessary ingredients and tools
- Store food items properly and in compliance with food safety standards
- Perform any additional tasks or duties assigned by immediate supervisors or kitchen management
