- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to company standards and recipes.
- Monitor food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain consistency and quality.
- Manage kitchen schedules, assign tasks, and ensure proper shift coverage.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in ordering and inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
- Train and mentor new kitchen staff and ensure all staff follow proper food handling procedures.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely food service.
- Handle customer complaints related to food and kitchen service.
- Monitor food wastage and implement measures to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
