Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any related field
- At least 8 years of solid experience in developing and supporting DevOps platforms and tools and in comparable institutions.
Technical Knowledge
- Proven experience in applying Agile and DevOps principles
- Proven expertise and experience in Git, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, and relevant technologies
- Proven expertise in conceptualizing, designing, building, implementing, and supporting Azure DevOps (ADO)
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Familiarity with automated testing
- Experience in DataDog and/or SonarCloud is a plus
- Excellent in Python, Perl, Java, PowerShell, TypeScript, NodeJS, and markup languages (yaml, xaml, and the like)
- Knowledgeable in writing high-performance and secure code
- Experience in developing ADO extensions is a plus
- Knowledge and familiarity with server, network and security configuration
Tools/Software
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Azure Resource Manager)
- Experience in using Static/Dynamic Application Security Testing tools (SonarCloud, Snyk)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Node.JS, YAML).
- Familiarity with telemetry/observability tools (Datadog, WalkMe, etc) is a plus
Certification (if applicable)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar is a plus
Reporting and Coordination
- For the provision of staff augmentation services, the Agency Personnel will take instructions from the DevOps Lead of the Developer Experience team at the Information Technology Department and work closely with the product teams and other internal teams (Infra, etc).

About the Role:
- Within the IT Department’s Digital for Institution Division (ITIN) and through the Developer Experience (DevX), the incumbent will conceptualize, design, develop, mainstream, support, and maintain DevOps implementations, standards, process, practices, and tools. The incumbent reports to the Lead, DevX.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities - Driving DevOps Practices
- Understanding customer goals and key performance indicators
- Creation and implementation of DevOps recommended practices.
- Planning, executing, and/or monitoring DevOps implementation activities with product teams
- Conceptualization, design, development, testing, deployment of scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines, related automation, and tools
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure in collaboration with the infrastructure team
- Defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Encouraging and building automated processes whenever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management in collaboration with IT security team
- Mentoring and guiding product teams on DevOps
- Support and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and fix CI/CD related bugs and issues
- Monitoring, reporting and optimization of the DevOps process, standards and recommended practices.

- Improving customer experience thru KPIs
