Responsibilities
- Manage and support a DevOps and IAM team for a critical identity application.
- Integrate applications into BUA (DEV, pre-prod & production)
- Incident Management
Management, Access Control, and Maintenance:
- Manage user identities, profiles, and credentials across different cloud platforms, ensuring consistency and security.
- Implement and manage access control policies and permissions, granting users appropriate access to resources based on their roles and responsibilities.
- Configure and maintain IAM systems, including identity governance and administration (IGA), access management (AM), and native privileged access management (PAM).
- Monitor and audit user access processes and identity lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, system incidents, problems, and changes related to IAM; to then be able to provide a root cause analysis and options to mitigate future incidents.
- Provide technical support to end-users and business partners regarding BUA (Okta Workforce Identity solution)-related issues.
Compliance and Security:
- Implement security controls to protect against unauthorized access.
- Implement and maintain security measures, such as encryption, multi-factor authentication, and threat detection, to protect data and resources in the hybrid cloud.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for identity and access management in hybrid cloud environments.
- Stay current with the latest IAM best practices and security threats and adapt IAM solutions accordingly. Identifies and proposes new solutions and/ or practices that will improve Bell’s identity security posture and provides benefits to Bell.
Documentation:
- Document IAM designs, procedures, and policies for future reference and maintainability.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other technology teams, including cloud architects, security engineers, and application developers, to integrate IAM solutions into hybrid cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Okta, including at least 3+ years in roles such as Okta Administrator, Developer, or Architect
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- 5 years of Experience with identity and access management tools and platforms, such as Active Directory, Delinea, Entra, AWS IAM, and Google Cloud IAM.
- Proven 5 years of experience with cloud identity provisioning and governance.
- 5 years of experience with authentication and authorization protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Minimum of 3 years leading a DevOps team in an Agile environment, with a strong focus on identity or security operations
Educational Qualification/s
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Required Certification: Okta Administrator, Okta Developer, OR Okta Architect
