The Regulatory Compliance (RegComp) Legal Editor is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of new legislations and product improvement. Primary responsibilities include:
- drafting legislation updates;
- QA of drafted alerts;
- uploading of alerts;
- uploading of new assets;
- QA of uploaded assets; and
- clean up and troubleshooting of existing assets.
- To read and analyze case law, and other legal documents.
- To generate high-quality editorial content based on own analysis. The content is delivered in English, based on some specifications and standards, and established house-style and quality framework.
- To generate content while meeting the required productivity, accuracy level, timeliness, and currency deadlines.
- To perform other duties that may be assigned.
Close interaction with team members in Australia and within REPH is required to carry out the role effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor
- Must have a sound level of computer literacy
- Must have legal research skills
- Must have superior reading, legal comprehension and proofreading skills
- Must have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate project management skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
- Must have good relationship-building skills
- Must have a sound commercial awareness
- Must have advance analytical skills
- Must be able to work on flexible schedule
- Must not have any attendance and/or punctuality issues in the past 12 months
- Must have not received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
