Licensed Medical Technologist (General Trias Cavite)

We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting chemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic, and microbiological analyses of various bodily fluids (blood, urine, CSF, etc.) and tissues.
• Performing specialized tests such as blood typing and cross-matching for transfusions, drug testing, and identifying microorganisms.
• Analyzing results and identifying abnormalities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all tests.
• Proficiently collecting blood samples (phlebotomy) from patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Receiving, labeling, processing, and preparing patient samples for analysis, adhering to strict protocols for proper handling and storage.
• Implementing and maintaining quality control programs to ensure the accuracy and precision of laboratory results.
• Performing calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges.
• Accurately recording and documenting all test results in laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Preparing and summarizing comprehensive reports of findings for physicians and other medical specialists.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers on patient care based on laboratory results.
• Adhering to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of biohazardous materials.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Staying updated on best practices in medical laboratory sciences and complying with DOH and other regulatory standards
• Monitoring and managing laboratory supply inventories and ordering replenishments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid license holder as a Medical Technologist from PRC.
• At least one (1) year of professional experience as a Medical Technologist preferably in a clinical diagnostic setting.
• Freshly licensed medical technologist with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to be assigned in General Trias Cavite.
