We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and prepare patients for radiologic examinations.
- Position patients correctly for various imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
- Provide compassionate care and address patient concerns during examinations.
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including but not limited to X-rays. (Depending on the branch's capabilities, this may extend to CT scans, mammography, or other modalities with relevant training/experience.)
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the highest quality of images by maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Apply and maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and report any major issues to senior staff or maintenance.
- Ensure adequate supplies of testing equipment and maintain cleanliness of exam areas.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system or other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient assessments and ensure effective diagnosis.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols set by relevant authorities (e.g., Department of Health, Professional Regulation Commission in the Philippines).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid license holder as a Radiologic Technologist from PRC.
- At least one (1) year of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferably in a clinical diagnostic setting.
- Freshly licensed radiologic technologist with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Willing to be assigned in General Trias Cavite.
