What you'll be doing
- Continuously scanning the pool and beach areas to identify any potential safety concerns
- Providing immediate response and first aid to guests in distress or in need of medical attention
- Enforce all pool and beach safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Conducting regular inspections of pool and beach equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Educating guests on safe swimming practices and beach safety
- Maintaining detailed incident reports and logs
- Collaborating with the hotel's safety and security teams to ensure a cohesive approach to guest safety
What we're looking for
- Current lifeguard certification and demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong swimming skills and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with guests of all ages
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- First aid and CPR certification
- Familiarity with beach and pool safety protocols and regulations
