Fleet Operations
- Receive and diagnose reported trouble/issues on fleet trucks
- Monitor fuel consumption
- Monitor the loading of trucks, trip progress, and unloading; help ensure punctuality of truck departures and arrivals
- Conduct daily toolbox meeting with the drivers and truck helpers where new safety and administrative guidelines; global safety alerts; and other issues are discussed
- Recommend programs to improve/streamline fleet operations
- Arrange work schedules of drivers and truck helpers
- Counsel team members who are not meeting performance standards
- Oversee processing of vehicle registrations, warranty claims, and insurance claims
- Monitor progress of ongoing vehicle repairs
- Monitor upcoming preventive maintenance service requirements and schedule visits to the service center
