Maintenance Assistant
Job Description
- Basic Plumbing response and repairs
- Painting and Decoration repairs
- Water Hygiene duties - flow and return temperature checks
- First line response to call outs
- Inspect areas and report back to service desk
- Basic Weeding and maintenance of external landscape
- Unplanned preventative maintenance
- Provide interior and exterior upkeep of properties
- Assist with flooring and appliance installation, as needed
- Perform or assist in all building repairs such as installing appliance, electrical fixtures, re-key deadbolts
- Keep equipment in a safe and working order
- Be responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning kitchen floors, equipment, sanitizing common areas, public restrooms, shared offices spaces, carpets and hard surfaces
- Be responsible for basic and preventative maintenance of the facility, which may include minor remodeling and painting
- Inspect and arrange for repair of fixtures, sewer systems, fire extinguishing systems, and mechanical equipment, under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Technician
- Provide assistance and support to the Maintenance Department
- Provides assistance and support with SAP Plant Maintenance.
- Issue equipment numbers for new pieces of equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- With NCII
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects.
