The Mall Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and all aspects of the mall, including maintenance, security, customer service, and tenant relations, run smoothly and efficiently. This role ensures that the mall provides a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for shoppers, tenants, and employees while optimizing operational performance and customer satisfaction
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the mall, ensuring that all facilities are maintained, including common areas, parking lots, restrooms, and other public spaces.
- Monitor building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any immediate repair needs or preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure that the mall’s operations adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards.
2. Housekeeping and Maintenance:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene throughout the mall.
- Oversee waste disposal, recycling, and minimization initiatives.
- Supervise outdoor and indoor landscaping, gardening, and plant maintenance.
- Ensure effective pest control measures.
- Oversee routine maintenance, repairs and replacements of mall facilities and equipment.
3. Tenant Relations and Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their operational concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with leasing and facility management group to ensure tenants comply with mall policies.
4. Security and Safety Management:
- Closely coordinates with Customer Relation Services Office ( CRS) to implement security protocols, including access control, surveillance and emergency response.
- Coordinates with CRS on the implementation of emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills, evacuations, and crisis management.
5. Customer Experience:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for shoppers.
- Manage customer services, including information desks, lost and found, and other customer support functions.
- Ensures that all mall customer complaints are resolve in a timely and professional manner.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on mall operations, including maintenance, security, customer service, and tenant concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all operational activities, including maintenance schedules, incident reports, and vendor contracts.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations for operational improvements based on data analysis.

7. Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local laws, ordinances, building codes, fire safety standards, and accessibility regulations.
- Implement health and safety protocols, including emergency response plans.
