As the Manager of Facilities and Office Services, you will oversee the comprehensive management and optimization of all facilities operations at the Medellin site. This pivotal role involves ensuring the seamless functioning of the office environment by effectively coordinating with various departments, vendors, and stakeholders. You will manage hard and soft facilities services, including overseeing building maintenance, safety protocols, and office services to ensure that all facilities meet the highest quality and functionality standards. Your strategic oversight will ensure that the physical environment enhances productivity, supports dynamic business needs, and aligns with organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
High-level Responsibilities:
Leadership & Support: Provide leadership, resources, and support to ensure the effective operation of facilities, address any challenges, and promote an environment conducive to productivity.
Strategic Guidance: Direct the team on improvements, maintain and enhance performance standards, and guide operational strategies for facilities management.
Operational Monitoring: Track and monitor the health and performance of facilities, intervening as necessary to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
Specific Responsibilities:
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with external parties such as property management, vendors, and local authorities to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.
Facilities Oversight: Oversee all aspects of building maintenance and repairs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure that facilities are well-maintained and functional.
Inventory & Procurement: Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment, oversee procurement processes, and ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Housekeeping & Technical Support: Ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency of office environments; provide technical support for critical equipment.
Documentation & Filing: Organize and manage important documents and files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Safety & Security: Implement and manage safety and security protocols in line with company standards.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular reports on facilities operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

On-Site Management: Previous experience in a managerial role with a focus on on-site facilities operations and maintenance.
Educational and Certification Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent certification is preferred. Additional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEED Accreditation are advantageous.
