Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Bilingual Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships—particularly with Mandarin-speaking clients—and driving revenue growth for the agency. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, Filipino, and Mandarin, a strong understanding of digital marketing services, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities across multiple industries.
Implement strategic outreach plans through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Mandarin-speaking clients and representatives.
Understand client needs and provide tailored digital marketing solutions.
Serve as the key point of contact during initial engagements and transition to the account management team.
Account Oversight & Growth
Oversee assigned accounts, negotiate deals, support operational improvement, and drive participation in campaigns to maximize client growth.
Work closely with stakeholders on monthly/quarterly progress and initiatives.
Provide strategic insights and briefings to internal project managers and team leads.
Prepare and deliver detailed reports on account status and key performance metrics.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Promote and sell digital marketing services including Live Selling, E-commerce Solutions, Media Buying, Content Marketing, and Web Design.
Deliver engaging sales presentations, proposals, and close deals to meet or exceed targets.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts.
Provide actionable feedback to marketing and service teams based on client and market insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align sales efforts with ongoing marketing campaigns.
Partner with account and project teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Fluent in English, Filipino, and Mandarin (verbal and written).
5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
Deep understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, content, analytics).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Requirements
Proficient in Mandarin (verbal and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Management is preferred.
Logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Able to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and meet key business objectives.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Flexible and willing to conduct in-person seller visits across different locations.
Experience in the e-commerce or advertising industry is a plus.
