Basic Function
The Marketing Officer plays a crucial role in driving the success of a company's marketing efforts. By developing effective strategies, managing campaigns, and analyzing data, they contribute to increasing brand awareness, attracting potential enrollees, and ultimately driving revenue growth. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to achieve marketing objectives effectively.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Developing Marketing Strategies: Collaborates with the various work units and management to create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the school’s objectives.
2. Market Research: Conducts market research to identify trends, competitors, customer preferences, and potential opportunities for growth. Uses data analysis to aid in decision-making.
3. Campaign Management: Plans and executes marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital media, print, events, and social media platforms. Monitors campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
4. Content Creation: Generates engaging content for marketing materials including websites, social media posts, advertisements, brochures, and press releases.
5. Social Media Management: Manages social media accounts to build brand presence, engage with followers, answer the potential enrollees’ questions, and drive traffic to the school website.
6. Brand Management: Maintains brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels. Develops brand awareness strategies to enhance brand loyalty and recognition.
7. Event Coordination: Organizes and coordinates promotional events, enrollment campaigns, open houses, and other marketing-related activities.
8. Budget Management: Develops and manages marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources.
9. Performance Tracking: Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Prepares regular reports to evaluate results and provide insights for future improvements.
10. Miscellaneous: Performs other functions germane to the position as may be assigned by the superior and other school officials from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market research techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.
Working Conditions:
This position typically involves working during regular school hours. However, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during special events or peak periods.
