Qualifications:

Graduate of any Medical Related Courses is an Advantage but not required.
At least 6 months work experience in any Medical Clerical or Frontlining duties is REQUIRED.

Duties and responsibilities for this role typically include:

Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone.
Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues.
Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling.
Notifying providers of patient arrivals.
Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions.
Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records.
Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims.
Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders.
Provides directions and assistance to patients at the clinic;
Consults patients about products, pricing regulations and discount strategy;
Performs cashier related functions like receiving payments, posting charges to patient accounts or HMO's;
Thoroughly understands and adhere to payment and cash handling policies and procedures;
Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the direct supervisor;
Follows all safety and emergency procedures;
Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
