Key Responsibilities:
1. Laboratory Testing & Analysis
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests on blood, urine, tissue, and other biological samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, analyzers, and centrifuges.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results to physicians and healthcare providers.
2. Quality Control & Compliance
- Adhere to clinical laboratory standards, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all lab procedures, calibrations, and quality control checks.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and biosafety protocols.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
3. Patient Care & Sample Management
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens following proper guidelines.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and sample integrity throughout testing.
- Communicate critical lab values to healthcare providers promptly.
4. Equipment Maintenance & Inventory Management
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor laboratory supply inventory and request replenishment as needed.
5. Record-Keeping & Reporting
- Document and maintain accurate patient test records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Prepare laboratory reports for review by physicians and ensure timely communication of results.
- Assist in lab audits, data analysis, and report preparation as required.
6. Collaboration & Professional Development
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to enhance patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in laboratory technology and diagnostic procedures.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification from ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
- State licensure (if required by law).
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or primary care setting preferred.
- Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and immunology tests.
Skills & Competencies:

Work Schedule & Environment:
- Full-time or part-time role based on clinic hours.
- Work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic laboratory setting.
- May require occasional weekend or evening shifts based on patient demand.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
