Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for MEP projects, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine project scope and cost.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP estimating or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and components.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
