This role will be an integral part of a global team that will deliver technical solutions in a quality and efficient manner to clients around the world. The successful candidate will be able to develop full stack components and features as part of our Agile software development team to develop and maintain software products that meet the needs of our global client base, utilizing industry standard best practices and modern software engineering techniques.
The Role
- Knowledgeable in full development lifecycle and be able to deliver to deadlines producing quality deliverables on time as part of a team.
- Knowledgeable in software architecture and good design practice creating scalable, maintainable, extensible, and testable software without over-engineering.
- Knowledgeable in the breadth of software engineering activities including analysis, design, TDD, installation and deployment.
- Experience in Agile Scrum would be an advantage.
- Be a quick learner with a proactive approach to problem solving and able to use own initiative to deal with ambiguity.
- Have a good appreciation and interest of current and emerging technologies along with their benefits/limitations.
- Be numerate, as many of the problems they will be dealing with will be mathematically based.
- Have a working knowledge of using TFS/Azure DevOps, source control and portal features through Visual Studio.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, code, test, and debug new product enhancements
- Deliver maintainable and reusable solutions that follow cyber security standards and application performance benchmarks
- Embrace, implement, and evangelize test automation as part of the fabric of the team
- Incorporate an agile mindset as it applies to software development, team collaboration and open communication
The Requirement

- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related software development experience and applied knowledge using Agile Scrum software development life cycle, demonstrated understanding and implementation of software design principles such as SOLID, DI/IoC, Continuous Integration
- Foundational knowledge or academic experience in the Microsoft technology stack. This includes familiarity with concepts like .NET/C# (whether .NET Framework or .NET Core), SQL Server, ASP.NET, and MVC. Any exposure to Web API, JSON/RESTful services, Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Entity Framework, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 is a big plus
- Proactive: Willingness to seek out information and solutions that are pertinent to their responsibilities and key to their delivery and has team player attitude with a focus on the success of the team is a MUST and has strong work ethic
- Some familiarity with frameworks such as Angular, styling libraries like Bootstrap, and typed languages like TypeScript
- Experience with, or a solid grasp of, core web technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. Any familiarity with Azure or mobile application development (Android/iOS) would be a bonus!
