Job Description
Network Engineers primarily handling network design, installation, configuration, and network security shall not limited to network only hardware engineer may seek assistance in any installation to supervise. They are also responsible for procuring network equipment such as routers, switches, or any device related to network to provide the best possible efficiency in FOE infrastructure. A Network engineer is responsible for managing network technician in project implementations, corrective and preventive maintenance. The Network Engineer's role is to design, to review or evaluate supplier or any third-party design including network hardware such as routers and other network equipment. Evaluating the network technician, support for their needs, evaluate further enhancement trainings if necessary thru coordination with the technical manager.
Working closely with hardware engineers including the subcontractor's team of FOE. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading of all networks related concern and network equipment to ensure its optimal performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Assist Technical Manager and Technical Engineer's in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring the network performance.
- Assist Technical Manager and Technical Engineer's to accurately document any network hardware failure, repair, installation, and dismantling. Inventory monitoring of defective network related hardware if it is under or out of warranty.
- Assist Technical Manager and Technical team in developing longterm strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware and network equipment contracts and supervise contract-based installations.
- Required to learn FOE hardware for Toll collections, Telecoms, and Traffic
- When required, respond to onsite troubleshooting and analysis.
Operations
- Work with end users to identify and deliver required Hardware service levels.
- Provide training and support to end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
- Hardware monitoring
Knowledge & Experience
- Wide experience in different network design and implementation
- With CISCO certification
- Ability to create network topology, routing, IP addressing subnetting
- Able to create technical manuals, procedural documentation, OEM guides, Plans / layout and Network diagrams
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Self-motivated and with leadership skills
- Keen attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications
- Engineering Course or Any equivalent
- With CISCO certification
- 5 years experienced in large network deployment
- With experience in network administration
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Adherence to work schedule.
