As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), developing and implementing solutions to address business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Software: Design, code, and test high-quality software solutions using Linux Shell scripting and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL. Good to have skills: JavaScript, HTML, Java, and Python.
Collaborate in Agile Environment: Work within an Agile team, contributing to scrum or Kanban processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project milestones.
Technical Problem Solving: Address technical issues and challenges efficiently, providing robust solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous learning and development, staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for new and existing software to ensure clarity and consistency.
Required Skills and Experience:
Software Development Experience: Minimum of 4 years in software development, with a focus on enterprise-level applications.
Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile teams, utilizing scrum or Kanban frameworks.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to project collaboration.
Tools: Experience with Putty/SuperPutty, SQL Developer, WinSCP, Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Jenkins, Insomnia, Eclipse, Splunk Dashboard, and Grafana Dashboard.
