Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Australian clients
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS lodgements.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledgers, and other financial records.
- Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and Australian accounting standards.
- Handle bookkeeping, payroll, and end-of-month reporting.
- Communicate with clients to address accounting queries and provide financial insights.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Australian clients.
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
