PAYROLL SPECIALIST:
As an HR Payroll Specialist, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll process for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery in compliance with Philippine labor regulations. You’ll coordinate closely with Finance, HR, and external stakeholders to maintain proper payroll records, respond to inquiries, and support audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll in compliance with PH labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Accurately process payrolls for all employees in a timely manner
- Manage statutory government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports
- Process employee compensation changes (adjustments, leaves, OTs, final pays)
- Assist in audit and compliance processes
- Resolve employee payroll inquiries and issues professionally
- Generate payroll reports and reconciliations for management
- Collaborate with HR for onboarding/offboarding payroll requirements
- Support internal and external audits with payroll documentation
- Recommend improvements to payroll processes and systems
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Admin, HR, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in payroll (preferably in BPO or corporate setup)
- Hands-on experience with Philippine payroll systems (e.g., Sprout, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Proficient in Manual end-to-end payroll process
- Strong knowledge of labor and tax regulations, including mandatory benefits compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas)
Preferred:
- Experience handling mid-sized to large payroll volumes (350+ employees)
- Knowledge of 13th month pay, separation pay, final pay, and payroll taxes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple payroll cycles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
