We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring food safety compliance, production efficiency, staff management, and continuous improvement in all aspects of plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all plant operations including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and warehousing
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, etc.)
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet targets and delivery deadlines
- Monitor and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices
- Ensure plant meets productivity, quality, and safety goals
- Supervise, train, and evaluate plant staff, including supervisors and team leaders
- Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, cleanliness, and workplace safety
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role in food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food production standards and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and quality systems
- Proficient in manufacturing software (ERP systems), MS Office
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
