- Operate and monitor plastic injection moulding machines to produce finished products as per specifications
- Perform quality checks at various stages of the production process and implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on injection moulding equipment to optimise performance
- Maintain detailed production records and report any issues or deviations to the Production Manager
- Assist in the setup and changeover of moulds and equipment as per production schedules
- Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe work environment
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years of experience operating plastic injection moulding machines in a manufacturing setting
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment issues
- Good understanding of injection moulding principles, materials, and quality control procedures
- Proficient in reading and interpreting production schedules, technical drawings, and quality control data
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and follow standard operating procedures
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations in a manufacturing context
