A PowerTools Technician is a skilled professional who specializes in the repair, maintenance, and operation of power tools used in the construction industry. They work with a variety of power tools like drills, saws, grinders, and other machinery.
Qualifications:
- National Certification: Obtaining the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (NC II or NC III), or Mechatronics Servicing NC II certification from TESDA.
- Education: A high school diploma or vocational.
- Experience: Hand and power tool proficiency, with experience using a variety of tools.
- Knowledge, and Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance: Diagnosing and fixing issues in power tools, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Testing and calibration: Ensuring tools are functioning correctly and within specifications.
- Operation: Operating power tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Quality control: Inspecting tools for quality assurance before and after repairs.
- Safety compliance: Following safety procedures and guidelines when handling tools and equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving problems with power tools and related systems.
Work Set-up:
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Location: Mainly at Poblacion, Muntinlupa (but rotational work location depending on the need of each sites)
