Press Machine Line Leader

Job Summary

The Press Machine Line Leader is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising the press machine line while also operating machines when needed. This role ensures smooth workflow, proper machine setup, die handling, and compliance with production output, quality, and safety standards. The Line Leader plays a key role in team coordination, productivity monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate press machines and support production to meet daily targets.
• Lead and supervise a team of machine operators, ensuring proper task delegation and adherence to schedules.
• Perform die setup, alignment, and changeovers; verify that all parameters are within specification.
• Monitor machine conditions and coordinate with maintenance for preventive or corrective action.
• Ensure proper usage, cleaning, and storage of dies, molds, and tools.
• Enforce safety rules, 5S practices, and quality control standards on the line.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance for defect resolution and product checks.
• Guide and train new operators and promote skill development of team members.
• Maintain accurate production reports, downtime logs, and shift handover records.
• Participate in process improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or vocational course in Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Line Leader in a press machine or die mold production line.
• At least 2–3 years of experience operating press machines and handling die setups.
• Skilled in troubleshooting machine issues and reading technical drawings.
• Knowledgeable in safety protocols, 5S, and basic quality standards.
• Willing to work on shifts and extended hours, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php15,500.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
