Job Summary:
The Procurement Support Analyst will play a key role in supporting our procurement operations through detailed pricing analysis, vendor research, and strategic data tracking. This position is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity across vendor contracts and pricing structures, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market trends. Working closely with the Procurement Team, you will organize, analyze, and compare pricing files, help surface actionable insights, assist with vendor communications, and contribute to the growth and diversification of our portfolio. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly analytical, Excel-savvy, and looking to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing pricing analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive offerings to members
- Monitor vendor file submissions and follow up for updated or missing pricing information
- Assist in identifying gaps in vendor coverage and recommend new suppliers or product categories for expansion
- Track contract timelines and support the team in prioritizing renewal and renegotiation opportunities
- Maintain and enhance internal pricing tools and trackers (in Excel)
- Organize and analyze data to support business decisions and present findings
- Support the team in expanding our presence across different classes of trade
- Coordinate with internal departments to align procurement data and goals with organizational initiatives
- Assist with special projects and vendor research as assigned
- Handle other special projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts, automations, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and recommend actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and procurement platforms is a plus
