We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and results-driven Product Development Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of developing new products or improving existing ones. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, marketing, and supply chain—to bring innovative products to market that align with customer needs and business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- With knowledge in chemical properties, formulation techniques, and industrial production processes.
- Willing to work on-site at Malate, Manila, from Monday to Saturday.
- Experience or interest in e-commerce, product study and analytics, and market research.
- Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and product development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira), and design tools (e.g., CAD, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to identify opportunities for new product development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype new products.
- Develop product specifications, performance benchmarks, and timelines.
- Coordinate product testing and quality assurance activities.
- Manage the lifecycle of product development projects from ideation to launch.
- Support go-to-market strategies in coordination with marketing and sales teams.
- Monitor product performance and gather post-launch feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation related to product development, including testing reports, regulatory requirements, and version control.
Work Environment
- Office-based role with travel required for client meetings and industry events.
- May require extended hours during peak business periods.
