Position: Production Manager
Work Setup: Mon to Sat – Onsite
The Production Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations at Genie Product Concepts Manufacturing Corp., ensuring products are produced on time, within budget, and at the right quality standards. As this is a developing team, the role requires building the production manpower structure, establishing operational processes, setting up production documentation systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Production Manager will work closely with QA/QC, R&D, Procurement, and other departments to ensure production targets align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Job Description:
Production Planning & Operations
- Plan, organize, and control the production schedule to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
- Allocate resources effectively to optimize production output and efficiency.
- Oversee machine utilization, preventive maintenance schedules, and production flow.
- Ensure production activities comply with GMP, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
- Work closely with QA/QC to address non-conformance issues and prevent recurrence.
- Support R&D in product trials and smooth transition from development to mass production.
- Monitor production costs and implement measures to reduce waste and optimize resource usage.
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production processes.
- Create and maintain production documentation, including batch records, production logs, and work instructions.
- Implement systems for monitoring and reporting production KPIs.
Team Building & Manpower Development
- Recruit, train, and develop production staff to build a capable and reliable team.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance standards for each production position.
- Coach and mentor team members for skill enhancement and career growth.
Cross-Departmental Support
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, QA/QC, and R&D to align production schedules with market demands and business priorities.
- Provide production input for new product launches, process changes, and client requirements.
General
- Lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and safety in the production area.
- Evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, technology, and training to enhance capacity and capabilities.
- And other activities that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in building production teams, establishing processes, and implementing production documentation systems is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and Philippine FDA manufacturing requirements.

Other Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to handle extended working hours for urgent production runs.
- Willing to work onsite in San Pedro, Laguna.
