The Professional Development Intern will assist the Professional Development team in designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership and learning solutions. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in supporting professional development programs and projects, contributing to global learning alignment, and leveraging strategic learning insights. This internship is designed to provide learning opportunities and professional growth in the field of learning and development within a global organization. The successful candidate will gain valuable insights into the design and implementation of learning strategies and the management of development programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of learning programs and initiatives for professional development needs
- Assist in curating online learning modules aligned with the learning strategy
- Help facilitate discussions in the Compliance New Hire Training under the guidance of the Professional Development Specialist
- Contribute to monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of learning initiatives
- Assist in maintaining the Professional Development Dashboard for management reporting
- Apply best practices in learning design, development, and delivery to contribute to high-quality outputs
- Assist in conducting learning needs analysis
- Help maintain project documentation and course folders
- Support the management of training and program schedules to ensure alignment with business priorities
- Track and record learning participation using tools like Pursuit and Compass
- Participate in specific projects and tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a College/University degree program in Education, Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related fields
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of project and program management principles
- Interest in learning and development, talent management, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across various organizational levels
Preferred Qualifications:
Nice-to-have: Proficiency in reporting tools like PowerBI and dashboarding
