Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and resourceful Purchaser / All-Around Driver with experience in construction-related purchasing. The role combines procurement responsibilities with driving duties to support project operations and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day purchasing of construction materials, tools, and supplies.
- Source, negotiate, and maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased items to project sites.
- Drive company vehicle for delivery, pick-up, and other assigned tasks.
- Maintain proper records of purchases, receipts, and expenses.
- Assist with errands and logistical needs of the company.
- Ensure vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with safety requirements.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in construction purchasing and/or logistics.
- Knowledge of construction materials, hardware, and suppliers.
- With valid professional driver’s license (Restriction codes: 1,2,3 or higher).
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Physically fit and willing to do multi-tasking jobs.
- Trustworthy, dependable, and with strong sense of responsibility.
