1) Develop new formulations for different personal care products and cosmetics.
2) Formulate product prototypes and evaluate their physico-chemical properties, efficacy and stability.
3) Improve current formulations of products when needed.
4) Research innovative product technologies and new raw materials that can be used for future product development.
5) Prepare and provide samples for external laboratory tests and consumer usage tests.
6) Establish product specifications and procedures, as required for R&D projects.
7) Support scale-ups from lab prototype to commercial manufacture while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
8) Obtain process technology and equipment information for Production.
9) Obtain data and information required for regularatory submissions.
10) Provide technical support for operations and consumer relations.
11) Provide technical and supervisory support within the laboratory and other departments as required.
