Job Summary:
The Refrigeration Technician is primarily responsible in performing the execution of proper maintenance and operation of the Refrigeration Plant:
- Performing of Preventive Maintenance for the Equipment that provides continuous supply of Warehouse Refrigeration, Electricity and Water.
- Perform inventory of spare parts, tools and consumables.
- Perform check-up/troubleshooting/repairs for refrigeration equipment if needed.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reports of the activities (Preventive Maintenance/ Repairs)
- Ensure maintenance forms are properly filled up and regularly executed.
- Secure the compliance of direct reports to the standard operation procedures,
- Ensure compliance with Quality and Food Safety Standard practices.
- Assist to provide technical reports for the diagnosis of the problem.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year or 2-year course, or an Associate Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology or a Vocational/Technical Course in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.
- With experience in industrial refrigeration equipment, particularly ammonia systems.
- Preferably a holder of a DOMRAC NC II.
- Capacity to work in cold environments for extended periods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to perform Refrigeration Targets (KPIs) are met.
- Ensures that every Maintenance Processes are performed daily for strict compliance.
- Ensure Cold storage room are within in temperature range that is required by the client.
- Ensure PM records are regularly filled up and executed.
- Responsible for the implementation of Refrigeration Maintenance performance, participate in brainstorming of ideas, and come up with a consensus in resolving gaps, concerns, and issues.
- Participate in weekly/monthly coaching to assist in the execution of plans.
