Job Purpose
To lead and manage the regional sales operations for the diaper business, driving market expansion, identifying and negotiating with suitable distributors (DBs), and ensuring profitable growth. This role requires strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of cost management, and the ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Route-to-Market & Distributor Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified distributors (DBs) to ensure efficient market coverage and distribution of diaper products.
- Negotiate trading terms and pricing structures with DBs to ensure healthy margins and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate DB performance, including sell-in/sell-out data, inventory management, and financial compliance.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement the regional sales strategy specific to the diaper category, aligned with national objectives.
- Set monthly and quarterly KPIs for ASMs and field sales teams (e.g., sales volume, coverage, new accounts, in-store visibility).
- Lead the execution of channel programs and trade marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal support functions.
Team Leadership & People Development:
- Lead and mentor Area Sales Managers and field sales staff to execute route plans, expand coverage, and drive outlet productivity.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and business reviews.
- Build a high-performance team culture focused on results, accountability, and customer engagement.
Customer & Partner Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with DB owners, retailers, and local key accounts.
- Manage issue resolution, field escalations, and customer service coordination to ensure satisfaction and continuity.
Budget, Margin & Profitability Management:
- Ensure execution within approved trade and operational budgets.
- Continuously monitor pricing, promotions, and cost structure to maximize profitability of the diaper business in assigned regions.
- Analyze ROI of regional programs and adjust strategy as needed.
Reporting & Market Intelligence:
- Track and report on regional sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to HQ and commercial leadership team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably in diaper or personal care categories.
- Proven success in distributor/channel management, trade term negotiation, and regional business execution.
- Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
- Highly organized, result-driven, and cost-conscious.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned region
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
