We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Officer to oversee and execute all compliance processes with government agencies, including the BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other related offices. This role involves preparing, submitting, and monitoring various registrations, renewals, closures, payments, and reports to ensure the company’s full adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. The position requires frequent fieldwork, effective coordination with internal teams, and strong relationship-building skills with agency representatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit required documents, applications, and payments to government agencies such as the BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
- Manage the processing of business registrations, renewals of licenses and permits, and closure documentation.
- Facilitate the acquisition of compliance documents such as BIR Certificates of Registration (COR), Authority to Print (ATP), Books of Accounts registration, and similar requirements.
- Track deadlines for filings, renewals, and payments to ensure timely completion of all obligations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information and documents for compliance submissions.
- Represent the company during visits to government offices, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently.
- Maintain well-organized and up-to-date records of all compliance-related activities and transactions.
- Foster positive and professional working relationships with government personnel.
- Provide regular status updates and promptly escalate time-sensitive compliance concerns.
- Keep abreast of regulatory updates, policy changes, and new compliance requirements relevant to company operations.
Qualifications
- Preferably with 1–2 years of experience handling transactions with BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, or other similar agencies.
- Open to fresh graduates who are willing to be trained and eager to build expertise in compliance work.
- Must be based in Cagayan de Oro (CDO).
- Graduate of any business-related course.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive (frequent travel required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Familiarity with government online systems (e.g., eFPS, BIR eServices, PhilHealth, and SSS portals) is an advantage.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, honest, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Prior experience coordinating with government agencies is highly preferred for smoother and faster processing.
