The Regulatory Officer is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves preparing and submitting regulatory documents, monitoring compliance activities, liaising with government agencies, and supporting product registrations and certifications to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, licenses, permits, and certifications applicable to the company’s operations.
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents, reports, and applications to concerned government agencies (e.g., FDA, DENR, DOLE, BIR, LGU, etc.).
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulatory requirements, standards, and legislation that may affect company operations.
- Maintain and update regulatory records, databases, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, compliance checks, and assist in external inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and training to strengthen compliance culture.
- Liaise with auditors, inspectors, and government officials during inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Support product registration, labeling, and certification requirements when applicable.
- Prepare compliance reports for management review and decision-making.
