Job Description:
The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the reservations department. This includes ensuring that all reservation inquiries (phone, email, online channels) are handled efficiently and accurately, implementing effective strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring accurate records of bookings. The supervisor also coordinates with other departments such as Sales, Front Office, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest arrivals and optimal room availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the reservations team and ensure timely and accurate handling of all bookings
- Monitor room availability and coordinate with the Front Office on overbooking situations or group reservations
- Ensure that all reservations are properly input into the system
- Handle VIP, group, and corporate bookings and special requests
- Maintain updated records of room rates, promotions, packages, and negotiated corporate rates
- Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports
- Train, coach, and evaluate reservations staff to ensure high performance and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and data privacy standards
- Coordinate closely with Sales and Marketing on occupancy forecasts and room allocations
- Address guest inquiries and concerns related to bookings in a courteous and timely manner
- Assist in revenue management strategies such as rate parity and upselling efforts
- Other related task as may be assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or any related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in hotel reservations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
- Proficient in hotel property management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Knowledge of revenue management principles is an advantage
- Customer service-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Flexible with work schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
