Risk and Controls Analyst

GroupM Philippines is currently looking for a Risk & Controls Analyst to join us. In this role, you'll be responsible in assisting the management in monitoring the Group’s SOX program and other internal control policies and processes, external and internal audits coordination.

GroupM Philippines is currently looking for a Risk & Controls Analyst to join us. In this role, you'll be responsible in assisting the management in monitoring the Group’s SOX program and other internal control policies and processes, external and internal audits coordination.

Reporting of the role:

This role reports to: Risk & Controls Senior Manager

Measures of success –

In three months:

• Study existing end to end finance process, workflows and related internal controls.
• Assist in audit and finance reporting matters to ensure that deadlines and requirements are met and fulfilled.
• Assist in the preparation or updating of finance policies, as needed.
• Liaising to Corporate Secretary for legal compliance

In six months:

• Conduct periodical reviews and ensure process adherence to Internal controls. Effectively coordinate with the process owners to implement process controls and documentation requirements and implement corrective actions to plug control gaps.
• Assist the senior management in self-certification process by reviewing the monthly controls checklist and maintaining monthly SOX file documentation.
• Preparation and co-ordination with Internal and external audit team during control and financials reviews. Remediating deficiency / weaknesses and escalate critical issues to the senior management on timely basis.
• Get involved in cross-functional collaboration across different teams in Finance in resolving process issues and concerns and actively take part in delivering key Finance initiatives.
