DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors and checks newly placed orders in Prod AL.
- Checks all materials from fabrics, accessories, labels and packaging materials based on SDS, Techpacks, Simparel.
- Computes and request all accessories and packaging materials to SHO & AFG (for foreign supplies) and Purchasing Department (for local supplies).
- Validates all ordered materials by SHO if complete and sufficient for production requirement b/o orders received.
- Follow-ups and monitors status of material such as fabrics, accessories and packaging materials inbound to factory.
- Feedbacks materials quality to/from Merchandising (in coordination with QA Department) including requisition for approval for certain quality issues encountered in the factory.
- Approves fabric requisition of production and other departments (for their samples) for TNF fabrics only.
- Reads, checks, and answer all email communication with counter – part merchant from SHO and NYO that pertains to TNF orders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
- Candidate must be a graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or any 4-year course.
- With at least 2 years of experience in material planning gained from the manufacturing industry, preferably from garments or apparel.
- Keen to details, result-oriented, and can work under pressure.
