Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing occupational safety and health (OSH) policies and programs.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Enforce adherence to legal and company health and safety policies.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct safety orientation and toolbox meetings for workers.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
- Maintain and submit required safety reports, documentation, and permits.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices.
- Act as liaison between the company and regulatory bodies (e.g., DOLE, BWC).
- Ensure compliance with DOLE Department Order 198-18 and other applicable laws.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment through regular awareness campaigns.
