About the role
As a Safety Officer at La Rose Noire Clark Pampanga, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees across our construction sites in Clark Freeport Zone Pampanga. This full-time position is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular site inspections and identifying potential hazards
- Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures and training programs
- Investigating incidents and near misses, and implementing corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Providing safety-related advice and support to project managers and site teams
- Maintaining detailed records and reporting on safety performance metrics
- Promoting a positive safety culture and advocating for best practices
What we're looking for
- Recognised safety qualifications, such as a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels
- Ability to think critically, identify risks and implement effective control measures
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, collaborative and 'safety first' mindset
