Job Summary:
Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a Sales Director responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. This position evaluates new and existing opportunities for the company's computing solutions and works with prospects to understand their needs and goals -ultimately negotiating the terms of a successful partnership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Identify and define the customer demands, work with internal team to deliver solutions to meet highest customer satisfaction with quality result.
- Approach and develop large enterprise direct account, Telco & E-Commerce, Cloud Service Provider / Data center, HPC and related business opportunities.
- Create quality pipelines with eco-system partners and promote company’s products/solution/services proactively.
- Build-up and maintain long-term partnership and relationships with existing and new customers.
- Weekly updates on the progress and support needed are required.
Qualifications:
1. University degree or equivalent work experience preferably in high tech industry.
2. Minimum 15 years of sales and business development experience is desirable.
3. Requires a thorough knowledge of the x86 Server, GPU server, and Cloud/Data center business.
4. Proven working experience as a server solution management/business development or a relevant role with strong data center/enterprise customer connections.
5. Presentation skills, Teamwork skills, Communication & Negotiation skills, Problem-solving skills, Self-motivated, Customer service skills, Leadership skills, Analytical skills and attention to details.
6. Consistent track record of exceeding sales target.
7. Proficiency in English and a third language would be a plus.
