Job Summary: The Sales Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting and guiding the van sales team to ensure daily sales operations are executed smoothly. This role involves hands-on fieldwork such as joining van rides, providing on-ground support to salesmen, pushing product sell-through, addressing operational issues in the field, and conducting audits and verifications to ensure compliance with sales processes and company policies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Functions
- Accompany van salesmen during routes (van ride) to observe and assist in product pitching and selling.
- Monitor sales performance and help identify sales opportunities in the trade.
- Ensure proper execution of sales programs, promotions, and product displays.
- Conduct spot checks and audits on inventory, sales remittance, and customer coverage.
- Validate actual van loading vs. loading sheet.
- Monitor customer transactions and verify visit compliance and route adherence.
- Help implement daily sales targets and coach van salesmen on performance gaps.
- Report any major violations or issues to the Sales Manager.
- Collect, review, and summarize salesmen's reports (sales output, coverage, remittance, etc.).
- Maintain records of field audits, route performance, and van ride observations.
- Other job responsibilities assigned by the direct head.
Qualifications
- At least two year sales experience
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills
- Good numerical, analytical, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and capable in working under pressure
- Willing to travel
