Key Responsibilities:Access Control:
- Monitor and control entry and exit points at the dressing plant and office.
- Verify identity and purpose of visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
- Maintain a logbook or electronic records of all entries and exits.
Surveillance & Patrolling:
- Conduct routine patrols of the dressing plant, office, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
- Inspect locks, windows, doors, and gates to ensure they are secure.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents.
- Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of fire, chemical spill, or other emergencies.
- Provide first response support until emergency services arrive.
Asset Protection:
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to sensitive or restricted areas.
- Report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or breaches of security policy.
- Ensure proper documentation of any incidents, losses, or damages.
Employee & Visitor Interaction:
- Provide directions and assistance to employees and visitors in a professional manner.
- Ensure all visitors adhere to company safety and dress code protocols, especially in the plant area.
Compliance:
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Physically fit and able to perform rounds and respond quickly to incidents.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, alarm systems, and basic report writing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during shifts (including night shifts if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Security training certification/license (depending on jurisdiction).
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- First aid or emergency response training.
